Nature-Based Homeschool Enrichment for Ages 4-12

Rooted in Wonder
A hands-on, nature-based enrichment experience where curiosity leads the way.
Wildflower Explorers is a parent-attended homeschool enrichment club for children ages 4–12 who love to explore, discover, create, and learn about the natural world.
Meeting at Wildflower Farm, each adventure combines nature exploration, hands-on activities, science, creativity, stories, and discovery.
Throughout the season, Explorers might investigate plants and animals, observe seasonal changes, conduct simple experiments, create nature-inspired projects, and take on special Discovery Challenges.
Every Explorer Has a Journey
Each adventure starts with a gathering circle under the open sky, followed by a journey through the fields to observe seasonal changes. Explorers engage in hands-on science experiments, nature-inspired crafts, and Discovery Challenges that spark curiosity, all while documenting their findings in their Explorer Passports alongside new friends.

Meet Your Explorer Guide
Hi, I’m Daniela! 🌿
Wildflower Explorers was created from my love of children, nature, and meaningful learning—and from my experience as both an educator and homeschool mom.
With a background in elementary and middle school education, I wanted to create something different from a traditional classroom: a place where children can get outside, ask questions, make discoveries, create, and build friendships while learning alongside their families.
Wildflower Explorers brings together the things I believe make childhood and learning so meaningful—curiosity, hands-on experiences, connection, and a little bit of wonder.
I’m so excited to welcome your family to The Wildflower Farm and watch your little Explorers discover where their curiosity can take them.

Welcome to Wildflower Explorers. 🌼

What ages are welcome?
Wildflower Explorers is designed for children ages 4–12. Children ages 3 and under may attend free with an enrolled sibling, but they will not receive Explorer materials.
Is Wildflower Explorers parent-attended?
Yes! Wildflower Explorers is a parent-attended homeschool enrichment program. A parent or caregiver must remain with their Explorer throughout each adventure. This is not a drop-off program.
How often do we meet?
Explorers meet once a week for 90 minutes. Fall 2026 includes 8 weekly adventures during September and October.
What days and times are available?
Fall Explorer groups meet on Wednesdays or Fridays from 9:00–10:30 AM. Each group is limited to 10 families.
What is included with enrollment?
Each Explorer receives a Welcome Kit with an Explorer Passport, Nature Journal, Felt Badge Banner, Explorer Handbook, and materials for our weekly hands-on adventures.
What should my child bring?
Explorers should come prepared for hands-on outdoor adventures! We recommend bringing:
• A light snack
• A refillable water bottle
• Pencils and colored pencils for journaling and activities
• Layers, since temperatures can change throughout the morning
• Rain boots or other waterproof shoes when the ground is wet or rain is in the forecast
• Weather-appropriate clothing that can get a little dirty while exploring!
We spend time outdoors in all kinds of weather when conditions are safe, so coming prepared helps your Explorer stay comfortable and ready for adventure.
Is Wildflower Explorers a full homeschool curriculum?
No. Wildflower Explorers is a nature-based homeschool enrichment program, designed to complement your family's homeschool experience. Each adventure encourages children to explore, observe, ask questions, create, and learn through hands-on experiences.
What happens if we miss a class?
We understand that life happens! There are no refunds or credits for missed classes. However, if you are able to attend the other Explorer group that week, you are welcome to join them instead. Please reach out ahead of time so we can make sure there is space available.
What happens if a class is canceled due to weather?
The safety of our Explorers and families always comes first. If weather conditions make it unsafe to meet, families will be notified as soon as possible and the class will be rescheduled for a make-up date. Weather-related cancellations made by Wildflower Explorers will not count as a missed class.
What happens after the Fall session?
Wildflower Explorers will take a winter break and return for Spring 2027 adventures in April and May. Fall Explorers will receive priority access to spring enrollment before registration opens to new families.
How do I register?
Choose your preferred Explorer group and click Become an Explorer to begin registration. Space is limited to 10 families per group, so early registration is encouraged.
What is the pricing for the program?
Wildflower Explorers is $150 per month for the first registered child ages 4–12 and $75 per month for each additional sibling ages 4–12, with a maximum of $250 per month per family.
Siblings ages 3 and under may attend free of charge when accompanying a registered sibling. Children ages 3 and under do not receive the Explorer materials provided to registered students ages 4–12 unless that are registered as an explorer.
Fall registration is a commitment to the full Fall semester, which includes all 8 Wildflower Explorers adventures offered during September and October. Tuition is collected monthly for your convenience. Monthly payments are a payment option for the Fall semester and do not represent month-to-month enrollment.
